OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT MANAGER ~ CHINA

Beijing, China

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

The successful candidate will have a focus on improving uptake of RSPO-certified palm oil in the country via effective market development and stakeholder management with the primary objective of increasing the uptake of Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) in China.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Global Outreach & Engagement Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for

• Engaging with key stakeholders within China who have the ability to drive market transformations.
• Identifying key companies, key individuals, non-governmental organisations, and media, in order to establish relationships with these relevant individuals ensuring their organisations recognise the business case for sustainable production and consumption, and meaningful community engagement.

• Maintaining in depth knowledge and to conduct analysis of country economics and business trends, specifically relating to the palm oil industry
• Lead and support the identification of key areas of potential threats to the organisation in the specific market
• Identify and participate in conferences and platforms that are strategic to the organisation’s mandate

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

You should have at least a Bachelors degree in Communications / Marketing / International relations or it’s equivalent, with a minimum of Minimum 8 years working experience, with sound experience in sales, marketing and / or business development in China.

Together with excellent communication skills, you should also have a proven track record of working with international stakeholders and should have a very good understanding of Online and Social media platforms.

能力要求

要求至少有传播/市场营销/国际关系等相关专业学士学位或同等学历；至少有8年工作经验，拥有在中国从事销售、营销、市场拓展相关工作的丰富经历；除了出色的沟通技巧，我们还需要您具备与国际利益相关方共事能力和经验，并对网络和社交媒体平台有很好的了解。
